“I have learnt that I don’t actually want what I think I want, unless God wants it for me”

Life is full of lessons, both good and bad. The complications are exhausting gosh. I went through a rough patch and I am only 18 years old. A lot of things happened in my life, and mind you I’m talking about the negative side of things. But in order to get my life back in line I told myself to focus and all that started with letting go of what was hurting me because I deserve the best. I said to myself, my happiness is always going to come back. I should just do what I can today because it will always be enough.

For my peers who feel like giving up, you are not a failure; you are not a burden. Life is full of lessons so don’t be afraid to fall. Interrupt anxiety with gratitude. Oh, and always remember to be nice and smile because inner beauty and peace doesn’t rinse off. Take time to evaluate yourself and learn to love yourself because you are great, you are able and you are everything this world needs

My name is Palesa Chidi, they call me the daughter of the soil. Pheladi’a Selogadi and I am a first year journalism student. I didn’t make it this far by myself, I let God take the wheel. Oh and I studied. I let God lead. I am enjoying where I am now because I removed all the negativity in my life. You do the same my friend and I can guarantee you a happy ending.
