 A lot of excitement brewed as Tshwane united claimed victory in a match against Amy joe romans stars for the SAFAT SAB league at Giant stadium on Saturday.

Abie Phaloane. Coach of Tshwane united was pleased, but not surprised with his team’s performance. “Our team is always ready for these games. We make sure that we prepare, warm up and work together as a team.”

“We are actually preparing for next year and I must say our preparations are going very well, and I see so much improvement with our team.”

Regarding the performance of the opposing team, Phaloane said: “It’s not that we are underestimating our opponents, but they came to the game ill prepared. They don’t look like they did their warm ups in preparation of the match”

Tshwane united was able to scored 9-0 against Amy joe romans stars with goals by Tsholofelo Mokoena, Phuthi Mabotja, Keorapetse Sehoa, Koketso Mothapo, Kamohelo Komane and two “own goals” from the opposing team.

Captain of Tswane United was happy with his team’s contribution to the game. “We played very well as a team, contributed as a team and each and every one played well.” He then went on to thank their coach and technical team. “They helped us paly and work as a team, I would also like to thank God for this opportunity. Anything could have happened but we stuck together and managed to shred the opponents.

Kamogelo Lebelo, a Soshanguve resident and soccer fanatic was quite excited for Tshwane united. “I don’t know both of these teams so I don’t have a favorite. Tshwane united is very committed to the game and stands their ground, they are united like the name says.”

He went on to say that he believes that the opposing team will work harder next time and hopefully catch up. “I saw a lot of potential in the opposing team, I’m quite sure that they will show a lot of improvement in their next game.” 
Tshwane united will bw playing against TUT football FC at the TUT Pretoria ground on Saturday 13 April.
